EzzyPark is an online parking-booking platform powered by Ezzy.ph. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal information when customers, parking providers, partners, and website visitors use EzzyPark.

EzzyPark is committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and applicable issuances of the National Privacy Commission. Philippine privacy rules require personal-data processing to follow the principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality.

1. About EzzyPark

EzzyPark provides a digital platform that allows:

  • Customers to search for, book, and pay for available parking spaces;
  • Parking providers to list and manage parking spaces and booking schedules; and
  • Customers and providers to communicate regarding parking bookings.

EzzyPark acts only as an intermediary platform connecting customers with independent parking providers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, EzzyPark does not own, operate, manage, inspect, supervise, or control the parking facilities listed on the platform.

We do not intentionally store complete credit-card or debit-card information when payment details are processed directly by an authorised payment provider.

  • Verify parking providers and listings;

  • Prevent fraud and protect the security of the platform;
  • Improve EzzyPark’s website, application, and services;

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable, EzzyPark may process personal information because:

  • Processing is required to comply with a legal obligation;
  • Processing is necessary to protect legitimate business interests, provided these do not improperly override the user’s privacy rights; or

The National Privacy Commission advises that privacy notices should clearly explain what information is collected, how it is processed, and why it is needed.

Booking details may be shared with the selected parking provider so that the provider can confirm, manage, and fulfil the booking.

Payment Providers

We may use third parties for:

  • Cloud storage
  • Email and SMS delivery
  • Analytics

Customers and parking providers are independently responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit.

Providers must only use customer information for legitimate booking, parking-access, customer-support, safety, payment, and legal purposes. Providers must not copy, sell, publish, misuse, or retain customer information for unrelated purposes.

Customers must not submit false, misleading, unlawful, or unnecessary personal information about another individual.

7. Platform-Only Role and Provider Services

EzzyPark provides the technology used to connect customers and independent parking providers.

The actual parking space, facility access, security arrangements, availability, vehicle handling, operating conditions, pricing, staff conduct, and other parking-related services are provided and controlled by the relevant parking provider.

EzzyPark is not responsible for a provider’s independent acts or omissions, including:

  • Incorrect or misleading listings;
  • Unavailable, inaccessible, unsafe, or unsuitable parking spaces;
  • Damage to, loss of, or theft from a vehicle;
  • Personal injury or property damage occurring at a parking facility;
  • Provider cancellations, delays, overbooking, access problems, or operational failures;
  • Disputes between customers and providers; or
  • Services performed outside the EzzyPark platform.

However, nothing in this Privacy Policy excludes any responsibility that EzzyPark cannot legally exclude. A platform disclaimer should not be treated as a complete shield from duties imposed directly on EzzyPark by privacy, consumer-protection, contract, or other applicable laws.

8. Data Security

EzzyPark uses reasonable organisational, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction.

These measures may include:

  • Restricted account access;
  • Password protection;
  • Secure hosting;
  • Encryption where appropriate;
  • System monitoring;
  • Access controls;
  • Vendor-security requirements; and
  • Internal privacy and security procedures.

No website, mobile application, database, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

  • Display relevant parking locations;

  • Improve location-based searches.

Location access may normally be disabled through the user’s device or browser settings.

EzzyPark may send promotions, updates, offers, and platform announcements where legally permitted.

Users may unsubscribe through the link provided in a marketing email or by contacting EzzyPark. Operational messages, such as booking confirmations, payment receipts, password resets, and security notices, may still be sent when necessary.

13. Rights of Data Subjects

Subject to applicable law, users may have rights to:

  • Be informed about the processing of their personal information;
  • Access personal information held about them;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Object to certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;

EzzyPark is not intended for individuals who are legally unable to enter into a binding transaction without the involvement of a parent, guardian, or authorised adult.

EzzyPark may contain links to provider websites, maps, payment gateways, social-media pages, or other third-party services.

Those services operate under their own privacy policies and practices. EzzyPark is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or availability of third-party platforms.

Some technology or service providers may process information outside the Philippines. Where this occurs, EzzyPark will take reasonable steps to require suitable privacy and security protections consistent with applicable law.

17. Personal-Data Breaches

If EzzyPark becomes aware of a personal-data breach, it will assess the incident and take appropriate containment, investigation, remediation, documentation, and notification measures where required by law.

Unauthorised access, use, disclosure, sharing, or further dissemination of personal data may result in civil, administrative, or criminal liability under Philippine privacy law.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

EzzyPark may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in:

  • Platform features;
  • Business operations;
  • Service providers;
